PIAGGIO LIBERTY SCOOTER
The new model of the Piaggio Liberty Scooter is available in two engine sizes. The Piaggio Liberty 50cc features a frugal, air cooled 50CC i-GET 4-stroke 3-Valve electronic injection engine and the Piaggio Liberty 125cc is based on the economical air cooled 125CC i-GET 4-stroke 3-Valve electronic injection engine, both with amazingly low fuel consumption and well controlled emissions.
Being a moped the Piaggio Liberty 50 can be ridden at 16 on a provisional licence with a CBT and L-Plates, without L-Plates and with a passenger on a full UK car licence issued before 2001 without additional training or on a newer licence following completion of the one day CBT Training course.
The Piaggio Liberty 125 is a learner legal scooter and can be ridden at 17 upon completion of a CBT with L-Plates (no motorways or passengers) or without restriction on a full motorcycle licence.
The new Piaggio Liberty Scooter is easily accessible to all riders with a low, comfortable saddle, features such as a large high wheels and flat footplate inspire confidence and makes light work of journeys, the compact dimensions, stable wheelbase and light, agile handling make it a breeze to cut through traffic and park easily in the tightest of gaps.
The modern styling of the Piaggio Liberty, low running costs, spacious underseat compartment to hold a helmet, small glovebox in the front panel, and innovative safety features such as front wheel ABS on the Piaggio Liberty 125, make it ideally suited as an every day commuter.
